TOUR DIRECTORS

One of our professional bilingual Tour Directors will greet you upon your arrival in China and take care of you each and every step of the way.

The Tour Director will handle all of your hotel check-ins, guide you through the sights, and arrange all events during your stay in China.

In addition, you will be joined by a local guide in each location who will give you an insider¡¦s perspective of the local culture, history, and daily life.

Their stories and informative explanations will help you to better understand the culture and society. Many of our guests maintain contact with their new Chinese friends long after returning home.

Tipping

We choose the best English-speaking tour guides as well as drivers to make your trip a memorable and lasting one; although not necessary when calling a taxi or dining in a Chinese restaurant, tipping is highly recommended for our guides as well as bus drivers. The suggested rate per day:

Guidelines:

• For a tour with 2-5 members, it is customary for each member to tip
  USD $10 to the tour guide and USD $5 to the driver per tour day.
  
  
• For a tour with 6-9 members, it is customary for each member to tip
  USD $6 to the tour guide and USD $4 to the driver per tour day.
  
  
• For a group with 10 or more members, it is customary for each member to tip
  USD $5 to the tour guide and USD $3 to the driver per tour day.
