WIN A FREE TRIP FOR TWO TO CHINA!!!
- AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES: By participating in the photo/caption or comment contest, each entrant fully and unconditionally agrees to and accepts these Official Rules and the decision of China Discovery Tours, which are final and binding in all matters related to the contest.
- HOW TO ENTER: To enter the contest, send us one photo from a recent tour with China Discovery Tours and a caption/comment of 100 words or less. The picture could be of anything along your trip that highlights the experience of traveling with China Discovery Tours.
- WHERE: Entries can be made by sending in one photo along with your caption/comment and entry form to 20407 Hawthorne BLVD. Torrance, CA 90503.
- HOW MANY ENTRIES: Two entries per person allowed for those who book their trip by December 31st, 2008. One entry per person who books/travels between 12 A.M. PST January 1st, 2009 to 11:59 P.M. PST November 30th, 2009. All entries are due by November 30th, 2009. All entries must include entrant's full name, address, telephone number and invoice number. Anyone traveling after due date is not eligible to win. Any persons who have been on a tour with CDT are eligible to enter as long as photo is from their journey with China Discovery Tours.
- WHO: Anyone who goes on the trip can submit a photo and caption/comment. The winner must be 21 years of age or older. If there is a winner under the age of 21, their parent/legal guardian 21 years of age or older must claim the prize. Entrant must be a legal resident of the United States. Employees of China Discovery Tours and Travel Design, USA and their immediate family members (i.e. spouses, parents, grandparents, children, grandchildren and siblings) are not eligible to win.
- Entries will be judged equally on creativity, originality and relevance to the theme of the contest. No images including pornography, violence, obscenity, vulgarity or nudity are permitted. Any entries including any of the fore mentioned will be disqualified immediately.
- China Discovery Tours staff will judge all eligible entries which will be equally scored on originality, creativity and relevance. Once judging is complete a winner will be chosen on or around January 1st, 2010. Judges decisions concerning all matters in regards to the contest are final and binding.
- Winner will be notified by telephone or by mail on or around January 1st, 2010. The winner is required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility, release and indemnity.
- Submission of an entry grants China Discovery Tours and Travel Design, USA the exclusive, perpetual right to publish, use, edit, modify, adapt, excerpt and copy the entry for any and all purposes in any and all media in existence or hereafter without compensation to you, including but not limited to, the rights to publish the entry for advertising, China Discovery Tours catalog and in any other manner and medium seen fit without restriction.
- PRIZE: The winner will be awarded a free trip for two on China Discovery Tours- China Discovery Tour for 9 days and 6 nights in May of 2010. International airfare departing from LAX, transfers, intra-China flights, entrance/admission fees, hotel stay and meals as stated in the itinerary.
- PRIZE EXCLUSIONS: Prize does not include China Visa, airport tax/fuel surcharge, travel insurance, hotel incidentals and add-on airfare for persons outside of Los Angeles greater area (other exclusions may apply).
- TAXES: All taxes and other fees not expressly stated in the description of the prize are the sole responsibility of winner. All required tax-reporting forms will be issued to the IRS.
- RELEASE AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: All potential winners acknowledge compliance with these Official Rules and agree to release China Discovery Tours, Travel Design USA, its distributors, each of its respective affiliates, subsidiaries and other coordinating agencies involved in this Contest and all of their respective officers, directors and employees from any and all liability for injuries or damages sustained in connection with the use, acceptance, possession, or awarding of any prize or while preparing for, participating in, and/or traveling to or in connection with any prize-related activity. Entrant further agrees that in any cause of action, China Discovery Tours and Travel Design, USA and Affiliate's in no event shall be responsible or liable for any fees including attorney, or court fees. Entrant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including but not limited to punitive, consequential, direct or indirect damages.
- Contest void where prohibited by law.
- Prize is transferable only to immediate family (i.e. spouses, parents, grandparents, children, grandchildren and siblings). Prize is not refundable. No cash value or other substitution may be made, except by China Discovery Tours, who reserves the right to substitute any prize (or any component there of) with another prize (or component thereof) of equal or greater value if the intended prize is not available for any reason as determined by China Discovery Tours in its sole discretion. By accepting a prize, the winner consents to the use of his/her name, likeness, voice, and/or biographical information for advertising and Contest purposes without any compensation, except where prohibited by law.
- Participant agrees that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Contest or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action.
