Day 1 Check into LAX Airport, Los Angeles
Arrive in the evening and check-in at the LAX Airport.
Day 2 LAX Airport-Beijing
Board a Trans-Pacific flight to Beijing.
Day 3 Beijing (AB, L, SD)
After arriving in Beijing, check into your hotel. Later, visit the famous sites of the 2008 Olympic Games which includes the Bird's Nest (outside), the Water Cube (outside), Yonghegong, and Beihai Park. In the evening, you will be treated to a famous Peking Duck Welcome Banquet.

Day 4 Beijing - Datong (AB, L, D)
Board a morning flight to Datong. After arriving you will visit the Yungang Grottoes and the Huayan Monastery.
Day 5 Datong - Pingyao (AB, L, D)
Travel to Pingyao and on the way, visit Hanging Monastery and Wooden Pagoda. The Wooden Pagoda is China's tallest and oldest Buddhist pagoda constructed entirely of wood.

Day 6 Pingyao - Taiyuan (AB, L, D)
Enjoy a city tour of Pingyao, the financial center in Qing Dynasty. You will later visit Risheng Chang Old Bank and Qiao Family's courtyard house followed by a drive to Taiyuan.
Day 7 Taiyuan - Xian (AB, L, D)
In the early morning, take a Taiyuan city tour before flying to Xian. After arriving at Xian airport, you will be are transferred to your hotel where you may enjoy a free evening of exploring.
Day 8 Xian (AB, L, D)
Spend an exciting day visiting the Terracotta Warriors excavation site. Three pits contain over 7,300 warriors, horses and chariots crafted more than 2,000 years ago in honor of China's first Emperor Qin Shi Huang. In the evening, enjoy a spectacular Tang Dynasty Show and a Chinese Dumpling Banquet.

Day 9 Xian - Luoyang (AB, L, SD)
Visit the Ancient City Wall and Big Goose Pagoda before driving or taking a train to Luoyang. Have a Luoyang flavor dinner for the evening.

Day 10 Luoyang-Shaolin-Zhengzhou (AB, L, D)
In Luoyang, you will visit Longmen Grottoes and Guan Mausoleum. In the afternoon you will take a drive to Shaolin Temple, best known for its martial arts. Zongyue Temple at Songshang, Talin, and Shaolin Martial Arts School are other sites in Shaolin. You will later travel to Zhengzhou, the capital of Henan Province.
Day 11 Zhengzhou-Shanghai (AB, L)
Board a flight to Shanghai and then check into your hotel. Explore Shanghai by visiting the Yu Yuan Garden, Old Shanghai District, and take a ride up the famous Pearl TV Tower. After lunch enjoy a stroll along Nanjing Road and the Bund.
Day 12 Shanghai (AB)
Free day to explore Shanghai.
Day 13 Shanghai - USA (AB)
Free morning in Shanghai before catching the flight back home.
