Day 2 Beijing
Board your Trans-Pacific flight to Beijing.
Day 3 Beijing (B, L, D)
Arrive in Beijing in the early morning. On your way to the hotel, we will visit venues of the 2008 Olympic Games such as the Bird's Nest and the Water Cube for outside viewing. After a short rest at the hotel, we will visit the Summer Palace - the best preserved and largest imperial garden in China, followed by a stop at the Pearl Market before returning to the hotel for the evening.

Day 4 Beijing (AB, L, D)
Today explore Tiananmen Square, the largest square in China located in the center of Beijing, The Forbidden City where 24 emperors of Ming and Ching Dynasties ruled Middle Kingdom for nearly 500 years (1420-1911) and the Temple of Heaven - built in 1420, the temple is where emperors worshipped heaven for good harvests. In the evening, enjoy a spectacular Kung Fu Show.
Day 5 Beijing (AB, L, SD)
An exciting day is planned for you as we visit the Great Wall of China at Juyong Pass - the most famous military ancient strategic pass and the Ming-Ching Tombs - 3 imperial tombs built in the 17th century. China is famous for its exquisite jade products. Along the way, we will visit the Jade Museum. In the evening, enjoy a special Peking Duck Banquet.

Day 6 Beijing - Xian (AB, L, D)
In the morning, we will take a Hutong Tour and have lunch with a local family before our flight to Xian. Visit the Ancient City Wall for outside views. Complete our day with a visit to Lacquer Ware Factory and a spectacular Tang Dynasty Show.
Day 7 Xian (AB, L, D)
Today we visit Banpo Museum - the first prehistoric excavation site museum in China, and the Ceramics and Terracotta Factory. In the afternoon, visit the world-famous Terracotta Warriors - the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century. Then visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda - a symbol of the old-line Xian; it is a well-preserved ancient building and holy place for Buddhists. Enjoy the evening at your leisure.
Day 8 Xian - Shanghai (AB, L, D)
We make our way to the airport to catch our flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, visit The Bund - Shanghai's famous waterfront and Nanjing Road - China's premier shopping street that spans 3.1 miles. We will also visit Yu Yuan Gardens - a famous classical garden that dates back to Ming Dynasty and explore the Old Shanghai District.
Day 9 Shanghai - Suzhou - Shanghai (AB, L, D)
Today we make our way to Suzhou to visit Lingering Garden - one of the four most famous gardens in China, Tiger Hill which is 118 feet in height and covers over 3 acres. Visit the Grand Canals and Silk Factory #1. We return to Shanghai and stop at the Silk Rug Factory and later, enjoy the optional tour- amazing Shanghai ERA Show or Shanghai Harbor Cruise at additional cost.

Day 10 Shanghai - USA (AB)
After breakfast, board your flight back home via Beijing.
