Day 2 Beijing
Board your Trans-Pacific flight to Beijing.
Day 3 Beijing (B, L, D)
Arrive in Beijing in the early morning. On your way to the hotel, we will visit venues of the 2008 Olympic Games such as the Bird's Nest and the Water Cube for outside viewing. After a short rest at the hotel, we will visit the Summer Palace - the best preserved and largest imperial garden in China, followed by a stop at the Pearl Market before returning to the hotel for the evening.
Day 4 Beijing (AB, L, D)
Today explore Tiananmen Square, the largest square in China located in the center of Beijing, The Forbidden City where 24 emperors of the Ming and Ching Dynasties ruled the Middle Kingdom for nearly 500 years (1420-1911) and the Temple of Heaven - built in 1420, the temple was where emperors worshipped heaven for good harvests. In the evening, enjoy a spectacular Kung Fu Show.
Day 5 Beijing (AB, L, SD)
An exciting day is planned for you as we visit the Great Wall of China at Juyong Pass - the most famous military ancient strategic pass and the Ming-Ching Tombs - 3 imperial tombs built in the 17th century. China is famous for its exquisite jade products. Along the way, we will visit the Jade Museum. In the evening, enjoy a special Peking Duck Banquet.

Day 6 Beijing - Shanghai - Suzhou (AB, L, D)
In the morning, we will take a Hutong Tour and have lunch with a local family before our flight to Shanghai in the afternoon. Upon arrival, board your coach to the city of canal city of Zhouzhuang to get a feel for rural China. Following dinner, we make our way to Suzhou - known as the "Venice of the East" and its classical Chinese gardens and Grand Canals.
Day 7 Suzhou - Hangzhou (AB, L, D)
Today we visit Lingering Garden - one of the four most famous gardens in China, Silk Factory #1, take a boat ride on the Grand Canal, visit Tiger Hill which is 118 feet in height and covers over 3 acres and the National Embroidery Institute. Afterwards, board your coach to the wonderful city of Hangzhou. Upon arrival and check-in at the hotel, enjoy the free evening at your leisure.
Day 8 Hangzhou - Shanghai (AB, L, D)
In the morning, we visit a Tea Plantation and the Lingyin Temple (the Temple of Soul's Retreat). In the afternoon, enjoy a boat ride on beautiful West Lake. Afterwards, continue on your journey to the city of Shanghai. Upon arrival, enjoy a free evening to explore the city on your own.
Day 9 Shanghai (AB, L, D)
Spend the day exploring the city of Shanghai with a trip to The Bund - Shanghai's famous waterfront, Yu Yuan Garden - the famous classical garden that dates back to the Ming Dynasty and the Silk Rug Factory. Afterwards, explore the surrounding Old Shanghai District and stroll along Nanjing Road. Later, enjoy the optional tour- amazing Shanghai ERA Show or Shanghai Harbor Cruise at additional cost.
Day 10 Shanghai - Taipei (AB)
After breakfast, board your coach to the airport to catch your international flight to Taipei. Later we visit Taipei 101, the highest building in Taiwan.
Chang Kai Shek (CKS) Memorial Hall
Day 11 Taipei (AB, D)
Today we take a city tour of Taipei that includes visits to CKS Memorial Hall, the National Palace Museum which houses the largest collection of Chinese art in the world. Later we will also visit a Chinese temple and enjoy Taiwan's famous Night Market.
Day 12 Taipei (AB)
Free day to explore Taipei at your leisure.
Day 13 Taipei - USA (AB)
After breakfast, board your coach to the airport to catch your international flight back home to the U.S. via Beijing.
