Day 1-2 Depart from LAX
Board a Trans-Pacific flight to Beijing.
Day 3 Beijing (AB, L, D)
Arrive in Beijing in the early morning. Prior to checking into the hotel, we
visit sites of the 2008 Olympic Games such as the Bird's Nest (outside) and
the Water Cube (outside). After resting up, we visit the Summer Palace and
a pearl factory.
Day 4 Beijing (AB, L, SD)
After breakfast, we visit the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the
Temple of Heaven. In the evening, we are treated to a famous Peking Duck
Welcome Banquet.

Day 5 Beijing (AB, L, D)
Along the way to the Great Wall, we stop by a jade factory. After exploring
the Great Wall, lunch is served. We then return to the city for shopping
followed by dinner and a Kung Fu Show.
Day 6 Beijing-Zhouzhuang (AB, L, D)
The morning is free to take a Hutong Tour before an afternoon flight to
Shanghai. Upon arrival in Shanghai, we visit the canal city of Zhouzhuang
to get a feel for rural China that few foreigners have ever had the chance
to experience. After touring the city, we enjoy a gondola ride. Following
dinner, we make our way to Suzhou for the night.
Day 7 Suzhou-Shanghai (AB, L, D)
Suzhou has more than 60 classical gardens that have inspired countless
Chinese novels, paintings and poems. Today we witness this beauty at "The
Linger-in Garden", Tiger Hill and its Giant Leaning Pagoda and then on to
Suzhou's Silk Factory #1. In the evening we return to Shanghai for a side
excursion of Harbor Cruise or Shanghai Acrobat Show.
Day 8 Shanghai (AB, L)
Today we enjoy a ride up the famous Pearl TV Tower in the Pudong section,
stroll through Yu Yuan Garden and the surrounding Old Shanghai District.
Lunch is followed by a walk along Nanjing Road and the waterfront Bund to
view the city skyline.

Day 9 Shanghai-Taipei (AB)
Free morning in Shanghai before catching a flight to Taipei, Taiwan. Later we visit
the highest buliding in Taiwan, Taipei 101.
Day 10 Taipei (AB)
City tour of Taipei including visits to CKS Memorial Hall, National Palace Museum
which houses the largest collection of Chinese Art in the world. Later, we also visit
a Chinese Temple and enjoy Taiwan's famous Night Market.

Day 11 Taipei (AB)
Free day to explore Taipei.

Day 12 Taipei-USA (AB)
Free morning in Taipei before catching a flight back home via Beijing.
