Day 1-2 USA West Coast-Guilin
Board a Trans-Pacific flight to Guilin via Beijing.
Day 3 Guilin (L, D)
Our flight arrives in Guilin, the rest of the day is free to explore.
Day 4 Guilin (AB, D)
We cruise down the Li River and arrive at Yangshuo free market for local crafts and artworks.
Ornate Chinese Arched Bridge, Kunming
Day 5 Guilin-Kunming (AB, L, D)
In the morning we explore Elephant Trunk Hill and later marvel at the stalagmites in the Reed Flute Cave before catching a flight to Kunming, "The Spring City."
Day 6 Kunming-Dali (AB, L, D)
Catch a flight to Dali, home of the Bai minority, where we visit the Three
Pagodas and the Dali Museum. We also enjoy a scenic boat ride on Erhai
Lake and a city tour of Old Dali.
Day 7 Dali-Lijiang (AB, L, D)
In the morning, we drive to Lijiang and visit the Bai minority village in Xizhou.
After lunch we continue on to Lijiang where we enjoy a city tour of Old
Town Lijiang and Mu Palace.
Day 8 Lijiang (AB, L, D)
Today we are treated to a view from the top of the Jade Dragon Mountain,
which has been worshiped by the Naxi minority for generations. After
boarding the chair lift, we will see one of the most pristine views in China.
We will also visit the Yufeng Monastery, the residence of Dr. Rock and the
Naxi village of Yuhu.
Zhuang Minority Girl - Longsheng
Day 9 Lijiang-Shangrila (AB, L, D)
On our way to Shangrila we visit the first bend of the mighty Yangtze River
and the Tiger Leaping Gorge, where we descend more than 200 steps for
the best view of the gorge.
Day 10 Shangrila (AB, L, SD)
This morning we make our way to Ganden Songzanlin Monastery, the largest
Lamasery outside of Tibet. In the afternoon, we visit Shudu Lake before
enjoying dinner with a Tibetan family.

Day 11 Shangrila-Kunming (AB, D)
Take a flight to Kunming. Visit the Stone Forest, created by ancient winds and
water erosion. The Stone Forest is filled with limestone cliffs and peaks. On
the way back, we visit Dragon's Gate and Huating Temple.
Songzanlin Tibetan Monastery Near Zhongdian, China
Day 12 Kunming-Shanghai (AB, L)
Board a flight to Shanghai where we visit Yu Yuan Garden, Old Shanghai District
and take a ride up the famous Pearl TV Tower. After lunch, we stroll along Nanjing
Road and the Bund.
Day 13 Shanghai-Suzhou (AB, L, D)
Today we visit Suzhou, known for its delicate gardens. In Suzhou we visit Tiger Hill,
the Lingerin Garden and Silk Factory #1 before returning to Shanghai. An optional
Shanghai Harbor cruise or Shanghai Acrobat Show completes the evening.
Day 14 Shanghai (AB)
Free day to explore Shanghai.
Three Pagodas, Dali, China
Day 15 Shanghai-USA (AB)
Free morning in Shanghai before catching a flight back home via Beijing.
