Tour Introduction:Shangrila translates to "The Land of Sacredness and Peace". The Yunnan Province of China borders Vietnam, Burma and Laos providing some of the most breathtaking scenery imaginable. The land ranges from mountains to tropical rainforests and contains more than 20 minorities. Our journey begins in Guilin before visiting the picturesque city of Kunming to visit the Stone Forest. We also go to Dali, Lijiang and Shangrila, where some of the largest lamaseries outside of Tibet can be found. We end our journey in Hong Kong, the "Pearl' of the Orient".
Guilin (2 Nights):
Elephant Trunk Hill and Reed Flute Cave, Li River and Yangshuo
Kunming (2 Night):
Dragon's Gate, Huating Temple and Stone Forest
Dali (1 Night):
Three Pagodas, Dali Museum, Erahi Lake boat ride and Old Town
Lijiang (2 Nights):
Xizhou, Old Town, Mu Palace, Jade Dragon Mountain, Yufeng Monastery
Shangrila (2 Nights):
First bend of Yangtze River, Tiger Leaping Gorge, Ganden Sonzanlin Monastery, Shudu Lake and share a meal with a Tibetan family
Hong Kong (3 Nights):
Nightlife and Shopping on the Golden Mile and Nathan Road
