Day 1/Day 2 USA West Coast-Beijing
Board a trans-Pacific flight to Beijing.
Day 3 Beijing (AB, L, D)
We arrive in Beijing in the early morning. Visit Tiananmen Square, before resting at the hotel. In the afternoon we visit the Summer Palace and a pearl factory.

Day 4 Beijing (AB, L, SD)
After breakfast visit the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. In the evening, we are treated to a famous Peking Duck Welcome Banquet.

Day 5 Beijing (AB, L, D)
Along the way to the Great Wall, we visit a jade factory. After conquering the Great Wall, lunch is served. We then head back to the city for some shopping at an open market, followed by dinner and a Kung Fu show.

Day 6 Beijing-Zhouzhuang (AB, L, D)
This morning is free or enjoy an optional Hutong Tour before an afternoon flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival we visit the canal city of Zhouzhuang to get a feel for rural China that few foreigners have ever had the chance to experience. After touring the city, we enjoy a gondola ride. Following dinner, we make our way to Suzhou for the night.

Day 7 Suzhou-Shanghai (AB, L, D)
Suzhou has more than 60 classical gardens that have inspired countless Chinese novels, paintings and poems. Today we witness this beauty at "The Linger-in Garden", Tiger Hill and its Giant Leaning Pagoda and then on to Suzhou's Silk Factory #1. In the evening we return to Shanghai for an optional Harbor Cruise.

Day 8 Shanghai (AB, L)
Today we enjoy a ride up the famous Pearl TV Tower in the Pudong section, stroll through Yu Yuan Garden and the surrounding Old Shanghai District. Lunch is followed by a walk along Nanjing Road and the waterfront Bund to view the city skyline.

Day 9 Shanghai (AB)
After breakfast we have some time to explore Shanghai before boarding an afternoon flight home via Beijing.
