Board a trans-Pacific flight to Beijing.
Day 3 Beijing (AB, L, D)
Arrive in Beijing in the early morning. Visit Tiananmen Square before checking into the hotel to rest. In the afternoon visit the Summer Palace and a Pearl Factory.

After breakfast visit the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. In the evening, you are treated to a famous Peking Duck Welcome Banquet.

Along the way to the Great Wall visit a jade factory. After exploring the Great Wall, lunch is served, followed by dinner and a Kung Fu show.

This morning is free or you can enjoy an optional Hutong Tour before an afternoon flight to Yichang where your group boards our deluxe river vessel the President #1.

Day 10 Chongqing-Xian (AB)
After docking in Chongqing, visit the General Joseph Stillwell WWII Museum. We also visit a Panda Garden for a glimpse of China's unique treasures, later board a flight to the ancient capital of Xian.

Day 11 Xian (AB, L, SD)
Visit the Terracotta Warriors excavation site. Three pits contain over 7,300 warriors, horses and chariots crafted more than 2,000 years ago in honor of China's first Emperor, Qin Shi Huang. After lunch continue to the Big Goose Pagoda and the Ancient City Wall. The Tang Dynasty Show and a Chinese Dumpling Banquet complete the evening.

This morning we take a flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival visit the countryside town of Suzhou and visit Tiger Hill and the Lingerin Garden.

Visit Suzhou's Silk Factory #1, Shanghai's Yu Yuan Garden, Old Shanghai District and Pearl TV Tower or just stroll along Nanjing Road and the Bund.

Today explore Shanghai on your own.
