Chinese Visas

ALL TOUR MEMBERS MUST HAVE A VALID CHINESE VISA APPLIED INSIDE THEIR PASSPORT PRIOR TO DEPARTING NORTH AMERICA FOR CHINA. All travelers to China must have a valid Chinese visa inside their passport in order to board the flight for China. There are no exceptions. We can process the visa for our guests through the Chinese Consulate General. The process takes approximately 10-12 business days and costs $170. We must have your passport in order to process the visa and require that it be sent by Registered mail, Fed-Ex or Express Mail. Full details about visa processing will be included in your Confirmation Packet.

Passports & Air Ticket

PASSPORT: ALL TOUR MEMBERS REQUIRE A PASSPORT VALID AT LEAST 7 MONTHS PAST THE DATE YOU WILL ENTER CHINA. If you do not have a passport, or if your passport has expired or will expire, you must apply for a passport. U.S. passports are easily processed through the U.S. Postal Service. Contact the nearest post office for processing information in your area. Normal processing time may take as long as 6-8 weeks, but can be expedited in around 7-10 days for an additional fee.

AIRLINE TICKETS / FLIGHT INFORMATION: The tour price is included all tickets are economy class based on group travel from Los Angeles. Business and First Class seats are available for a significant amount more (please call for current quotes). Air China has a mileage program. You can receive credit for the Air China flights, but you will be responsible for processing your mileage accounts with Air China at the time of check-in. Air China is a non-smoking airline. Baggage allowance is limited to one large check-in piece and one carryon per person. The flight time to Beijing is about 12 hours. Further details about check-in, seating, baggage transfer, baggage dimensions, etc., will be included in your Confirmation Packet. (air carrier subject to change based upon availability)
